In Community
Being in community means more than showing up for events or taking photos. It means listening, building relationships, and understanding the real experiences people are facing every day. The best policy doesn’t come from behind a desk — it comes from conversations with neighbors, small business owners, working families, seniors, young people, and community leaders.
When we stay connected to the people we serve, we create solutions that are rooted in real needs, not assumptions. That’s why I believe leadership starts with presence, accessibility, and engagement. From community meetings and neighborhood events to small conversations in passing, every interaction matters because the voices of the community should shape the decisions being made for the community.
Real representation starts with being present.
